Feeds - Atom or RSS

I haven't found any notable difference between these, so tossed a coin it was heads atom.

When I discovered Feeds it blew my mind, I can subscribe to any platform even if I don't use. For instance, I follow channels that archive underground punk on doutube, feed links aren't transparent but, by adding /feeds/videos.xml?channel_id= it can be generated.

Ofcourse it'll take a hit on creator, but most of channels I follow exist just for the joy of sharing and I do justice by recommending them.

I use newsboat on my daily driver, it's minimal and great. Probably I'll host tiny-tiny-RSS for feed sync across all devices (fun?)
